Course overview

Merapi Golf Club is only 30 minutes from the ancient city of Yogyakarta. Designed by Thomson, Wolveridge, and Perret, this is an 18 hole course set on the side of a mountain. With the Par 72 course running at 6,370 meters through a hilly landscape with million year old rocks and boulders, the designers have made the best use of the local topography. Each hole provides a different challenge with “risks and rewards” everywhere. At 800 meters above sea level, the course has spectacular views which make for a very memorable day on one of the most wonderful courses in the region.
