Course overview

Designed by Greg Norman and just 30 kilometers from central Jakarta, this challenging 18-hole, par 72 golf course is calved into 90 hectares of jungle. Riverside Golf Course opened in 1994 under the prestigious banner of being the first Norman designed golf course in Indonesia.  The course favours long hitters of the ball because they play over ravines and cross rivers and streams. Many of the par-4 and par-5 holes play to blind greens that are neither visible from the tee or the fairway.  Riverside is nothing if not a challenge! The clubhouse is a little tired but has a great view over the 18th green and an open-air restaurant surrounded by mature trees. Other facilities include a pro shop, locker rooms, and grass driving range. There is a practice green and a chipping area, however they both in need of maintenance.
